The opportunities of Modello 231

In an increasingly regulated environment focused on corporate responsibility, adopting an appropriate Organizational, Management, and Control Model (or Modello 231) is a strategic choice, but also an opportunity. The model prevents criminal risks and protects the entity/company from the heavy penalties of Legislative Decree 231/2001, which may include both financial penalties and bans on business activity. Although it is not a mandatory requirement, its adoption is nevertheless requested in certain fields, such as in public procurement, where many tenders require it as a condition for signing the contract or as a merit-based factor in the evaluation of bids.
